About the boat

OC1 HURACAN - Translated from Spanish, it means HURRICANE. For the Mayans, HURACAN is the god of wind storms.

Our goal with the HURACAN was to create a design that would perform well both upwind and especially downwind.

When going downwind, after catching the wave, you gain more control and continuity compared to experiences with lower volume canoes.

In upwind conditions, there's a smooth descent on the back of the wave, preserving the flow of the rhythm being imposed. The seat position raises the canoe's edge, protecting the cockpit from flooding and providing a sensation of being 'dressed' in the canoe, greatly contributing to balance.

This model was designed by Diego Vale Designs alongside experienced athletes, and after water tests, they provided feedback that we achieved the goal of having an incredible surfing experience in the open sea.

G	Extra Carbon Foam Epoxy Vacuum Heat Cure	High-quality construction, prepared for high performance.

E	Carbon/Kevlar Vacuum Heat Cured	Was specifically developed for marathon events, it stands out for the balance between its lightness and stiffness. These features gives it an excellent performance in competition.

SCS	Solid Composite System	Construction with an excellent performance level because of it’s extreme stiffness. Those features are possible because of the high-technology that we use in the moulding of composites. Ideal for high-competition. This construction also stands out for the extras, such as, weights and cover for the boat, and also the possibility of customizing the painting (not included in the price of the boat).

FC	Full Carbon	The Full Carbon (FC) is a carbon look layup, that mixes different layup techniques and materials, resulting in an outstanding carbon look. FC is an extremely stiff boat that can support all the power and effort applied into it, while keeping a solid feeling at all time.

AIR	Ultralight Weight	Was specifically developed for surfski boats, standing out for being extremely lightweight. It’s especially suited for high performance in all conditions.
