Their expectations for specific performance characteristics became our design brief, leading to a new, entirely athlete driven geometry.
They wanted a boat that felt stable but sharp on the start line, so we refined the mid‑section volume and keel definition to deliver confidence in all conditions.
They wanted the boat to jump forward on the very first stroke, so we redesigned the bow entry and optimized the wetted surface for instant acceleration.
At cruising speed, they wanted the hull to track arrow straight and glide smoothly down the lane, so we balanced trim and extended the effective waterline for effortless flow.
When changing speed, they wanted the boat to reach peak velocity immediately and stay calm in the water once the peak was reached, so we redistributed volume and tuned secondary stability to eliminate unwanted roll or yaw.
And at maximum speed, they wanted a boat that drove forward each stroke, while remaining fully controllable, so we refined the stern shape and high‑speed stability curve to keep the boat lively yet predictable.
The result is a boat that feels alive from the first stroke to the finish line. It’s not just a new design; but a new design approach.

The Layup That Matches the Feeling.
To fully achieve these goals, we went beyond geometry and rethought the way the boat is built.
We moved from a classic carbon wet layup to a prepreg carbon layup, bringing new levels of precision to paddling performance.
This change ensures perfect resin control, higher fiber consolidation, and uniform stiffness across the entire hull. The result is a structure that feels tighter, sharper, and more consistent, exactly the steady, responsive sensation athletes ask for.
This innovation brings unprecedented stiffness, so that every stroke transfers power directly from paddler to boat movement, with no energy lost in flex or vibration.
Critically, the boat reacts instantly to a paddlers input, holds its line more firmly, and maintains its performance feel through each stroke cycle.
Stiffer Components for Sharper Control
Our commitment to athlete feel in the boat extended the design evolution beyond the hull itself with every component connecting the athlete to the boat being carefully re-designed to not compromise on delivering the desired experience for each stroke To achieve this, we developed a new generation of injected nylon parts reinforced with carbon fiber. This material upgrade delivers three major advantages:
– Stiffness: The new injected nylon‑carbon parts have a more than doubled wall over the previous aluminum components, while maintaining the same weight. The result is a dramatic increase in structural rigidity and a higher modulus (GPa), ensuring that no movement is lost to flex or delay between paddler and boat.
– Better Grip: Plastic‑on‑plastic contact points provide superior friction control compared to metallic connections. This means smoother, more secure adjustments and a feel that remains consistent. The system feels solid, and never slippery; exactly the kind of grip athletes expect when fine‑tuning their setup.
– Maintenance‑Free Durability: The new material is immune to oxidation and wear, eliminating corrosion issues common in metal parts. It keeps its precision over time, requiring no lubrication or surface protection, even in saltwater environments.
